Tim Alaniz

Tim Alaniz has over 9 years coaching experience from high school to NCAA Division II colleges.  He began at Tornado Volleyball Club and then moved to Zone-In Volleyball Academy where he was responsible for the development of five NCAA Division I athletes from the same team.  He was the Assistant coach for Christ Academy winning the Texas TAPPS IA State Championship.  He then moved on to become an assistant coach at Newman University (NCAA Division II) and Midwestern State University (NCAA Division II) garnering over 6 years of DII experience.  He has a Masters in Education and BS in Radiological Sciences both from Midwestern State.

“Tim has gained a lot of experience for a young coach.  He will be a tremendous asset to our young players to develop their foundation to succeed in the future which is greatly needed in our market.  We’re privileged to have him join our club,” noted Jaime Shamis, Charleston Academy Club Director.

Tim will assist our coaching staff with technical development through the use of both his coaching experience and technology proficiency.  He will also lead up our outreach programs into the community.
